Concerning the present critical situation of COVID-19 second wave, the district administration of Churachandpur presented an oxygen concentrator to Churachandpur District Hospital on Thursday.
The medical department of the hospital with an isolation ward has been lacking major resources and manpower.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, Churachandpur recorded 48 new COVID-19 positive cases, including 16 IRB returnees who were on duty at the Assam and West Bengal State Assembly election. Presently, the district has a total of 88 COVID-19 active cases, however, there were no reports of death cases as per sources from IDPS Churachandpur.
