Anal Khunou to test strength against Modi CSC for ADC Chandel Trophy 2nd Division Football League

In the first semi-final match, Modi CSC was pitied against Chandel Khullen YC and managed to score 2-2 goals each during normal, needing the kicks from penalty mark to decide the finalist.

Anal Khunou YC and Modi CSC will fight it out for the champion title of the ADC Chandel Trophy 2nd Division Football League 2021, organised by DSA Chandel.

In the first semi-final match, Modi CSC was pitied against Chandel Khullen YC and managed to score 2-2 goals each during normal, needing the kicks from penalty mark to decide the finalist. The second semi-final witnessed the same fate Anal Khunou YC beat Lambung YCC by 3-1 goals during penalty shootout as well.

It was a tit-for-tat game between Modi CSC and Chandel Khullen YC as the former shot home the goal for the lead, Chandel Khullen will come up with the equaliser in the next moment. WS Shungwar got the break for Modi team in the 22 minute of play but PS Bekan came up with the equaliser for Chandel Khullen in the 26 minute.

But Modi CSC had the advantage in the first half as they took the lead through ST Thumpas who scored the leading goal in the 29 minute. Chandel Khullen, despite getting bogged down for a while, rose up in the 59 minute when RD Colobion provided the equaliser to level 2-2 goals, leaving the match outcome to be decided by penalty shootout.

Modi CSC completed their task in style with JS Koningtha, Beloveson, BS Mono, KL Thoitha, Sundayson, Thumpas converted their kicks while for Chandel Khullen team, PS Bekan, Phowlman, TS Nikcy, RD Colobion, RD Ajule beat the keeper but Thangkhopao wasted his kick.

In the second semi-final, Anal Khunou YC edged out Lambung YCC during kicks from penalty kicks. Goalless during normal time but Berash, Thomas, Bengam shined during penalty kicks for Anal Khunou team while For Lambung YCC only WS Dimusing found the net while rest of teammates failed to get the angle right.
