Four more test positive for COVID-19 in Nagaland

Three more patients from Kohima recovered from COVID-19 in Nagaland on Friday.

Four more persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Nagaland on Friday, pushing the state's caseload to 12,221, state Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.

Taking to Twitter, the health minister said that the new cases included two each from Makokchung and Nagaland.

Meanwhile, three more patients from Kohima recovered from COVID-19 and the cumulative number of recovered cases surged to 11,966, Phom said.

The number of active cases is 10, the health minister added.

"Update! 4 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today. 2 each in Mokokchung & Kohima. And 3 +ve patients have recovered in Kohima. Total +ve cases- 12221 Recovered- 11966 Active Cases- 10," Phom tweeted on Friday evening.

In Nagaland, 81 COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the infection so far, of which 10 deaths are not due to COVID-19 while 153 cases have migrated to other states, according to the state health department.
