BOSEM notifies guidelines, information to schools, students

The Controller of Examination K Tiken Singh has stated that the board has started to issue a combined certificate and mark sheet to the candidates who have passed the HSLC examination with immediate effect from 2004.

Following the declaration of the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2020 on Monday by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM), the Board has issued a list of important information for the schools, the students who have cleared the examination, those who wish to appear for the compartmental examination.

A statement issued by controller of examination K Tiken Singh has said that the Board has started to issue a combined certificate and marksheet to the candidates who have passed the HSCL examination with immediate effect from 2004.

The original certificates cum marksheet will be issued to the passed candidates only soon after the announcement of the HSLC examination. No other certificate or mark sheet is issued separately.

The schools may collect the certificate cum marksheet of the HSLC examination 2020 with immediate effect from July 1, it said. Provisional Certificate-cum-Marksheet for the HSLC examination, 2020 will be issued to the passed candidates only with immediate effect from June 17 on payment of Rs 800 plus Rs 50 as the cost of application form, it added.

Unsuccessful candidates of the HSLC examination, 2020 who want to sit the HSCL examination, 2021 as regular candidates may be re-admitted to Class X in their respective schools within 30 days of the date of announcement of the results, it mentioned.

The schools are to send the names of such newly admitted students of the Board within 45 days of the announcement of the results, it further said while adding that the internal marks for the readmitted student are to be entered in the application form.

 Any candidate who is desirous of re-scrutinising his/her examined answer scripts of the examination under the regulation of the board may apply online in the Board’s official website www.bosem.in from June 18 to July  2 till 4 pm with a fee of Rs 1000 (non refundable) per subject (online payment). No application after the last date and also without the requisite fees shall be entertained, it said.

Candidates of the HSCL examination who appeared in all subjects but failed in one subject only, may appear, if they so desire, at the compartmental examination to be held in the last week of July, 2020, as per the statement.

It stated that for further details, the eligible candidate may contact the head of the schools from where they were sent up for the HSLC examination 2020.  Compartmental form fill-up will be done in the online mode only, it added.

Schools have to login to the website https://hslcportal.bosem.in by using the same use id and password as used in earlier and carry out the form fill up for compartmental examination in the same procedure as it has been done in the main examination, it said. The examination fee is Rs 2100 per student and the additional practical fee of Rs 150 for those subjects having practical examination (Thang-ta, Eshei Nongmai, Manipuri Jagoi, Fine Arts), it added.
