A one-day awareness programme on drugs was held on Sunday at Ningel Community hall, organised by Ningel Youth Club, Ningel. The programme was attended by SP of Thoubal district, S Ibomcha as chief guest and zilla Parishad of Wangkhem, Khundrakpam Sobha as president. The guests of honour were pradhan of Lourenthem Ningel GP, K Dhananjoy; SDPO of Yairipok, inspector Md Riyajuddin Shah; OC of Yairipok Police Station, inspector K Premkumar Mangang; OC of Nongpok Sekmai Police Station; and member of Leirongthel Ningel GP, Md Jallaruddin.
