Manipur Muslim Council (MMC) has condemned the incident wherein a sub divisional officer Shaikh Abdul Hakim was allegedly ambushed by miscreants near Setjan village CRPF camp, near Kotlen, Noney on Tuesday evening.

The MMC stated in a release on Wednesday Abdul Hakim asked the people/ organisations to declare the reasons why he was being ambushed. The release added that different communities living in the state should try to live together in harmony as one.
