Two-day mini legal service camp held

The camp was organised for enrollment of PMJAY and CMHT health card for intended beneficiaries belonging to priority households of Kakyai Langpok area.

A two-day mini legal services camp was organised by Kakyai Legal Aid Clinic and KYPC club at Kakyai Primary School, Bishnupur district on Thursday and Friday.

The camp was organised for enrollment of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and Chief Ministergi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) Health card for intended beneficiaries belonging to priority households of Kakyai Langpok area.

It was organised under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority, Bishnupur and Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) in collaboration with the State Health Agency, Directorate of Health Services, Manipur.

The two-day legal services camp focused on issuing the health cards to the priority households, vulnerable and marginalized beneficiaries who belong to very poor families, a release issued by MASLSA member secretary, Golmei Gaiphulsillu stated.

A total of 200 vulnerable and marginalised beneficiaries were issued with PMJAY and CMHT health cards as well as provided yellow cards for families that needed DC verification process, it stated.

The benefits of the Health Cards are Cashless treatment up to Rs 5 Lakhs for PMJAY and Cashless treatment up to Rs 2 Lakhs for CMHT in any empanelled Public and Private Hospitals in Manipur and outside Manipur, it added.
