Manipur Weather Update: Minimum temperature rises to 9.58 degree Celsius

While Senapati district recorded the lowest temperature in the state on Thursday, the highest temperature of 29.92 degree Celsius was recorded in Imphal East.

The minimum temperature in Manipur rose to 9.58 degree Celsius on Thursday while the maximum dipped to 29.92 degree Celsius from 30.51 degree Celsius on Wednesday, according to the climate change cell of the state Directorate of Environment and Climate Change.

While Senapati district recorded the lowest temperature in the state on Thursday, the highest temperature of 29.92 degree Celsius was recorded in Imphal East.


The relative humidity (RH) on Thursday morning was 98 per cent while it decreased to 33 per cent in the afternoon, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati 


In Bishnupur district, the minimum temperature was 11.18 degree Celsius while the maximum was 26.47 degree Celsius.

Churachandpur district recorded a minimum temperature of 11.98 degree Celsius and a maximum of 27.93 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature in Imphal East district was 12.28 degree Celsius while the maximum was recorded at 29.02 degree Celsius.

Imphal West district recorded a minimum temperature of 10.99 degree Celsius and maximum of 25.92 degree Celsius.

In Kakching district, the minimum temperature was 12.86 degree Celsius while maximum was 26.43 degree Celsius.

Kangpokpi district recorded a minimum temperature of 11.36 degree Celsius and maximum of 28.77 degree Celsius.

In Noney district the minimum temperature was 13.11 degree Celsius while the maximum was 29.92 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature in Tamenglong district was 14.48 degree Celsius while the maximum was 25.18 degree Celsius.

Tengnoupal district recorded a minimum temperature of 13.3 degree Celsius while its maximum was 29.85 degree Celsius.

On Wednesday, Imphal West recorded the lowest temperature of 7.32 degree Celsius.
