The Social Amelioration Society (SAS), Dewlahland organised a certificate distribution function of PMKVY 2.0 at the auditorium of the society located at ITI Complex, Lilong on Thursday.
The event was attended by MLA of Lilong assembly constituency Y Antas Khan as chief guest while director of SAS Md Akbar Khan was the president. The guests of honour were adakshya of Thoubal Zilla Parishad, Hasina Begum and president of AMMOCOC, Manipur SM Jalal Sheikh.
Addressing the gathering, Antas Khan lauded the passed out trainees and also exhorted them to use their skills in generating their own incomes. The MLA also appealed to the passed out trainees to become a job provider instead of a job seeker.
It may be mentioned that certificates were distributed to 175 trainees, who have passed out their pickle-making training in the 6th batch of PMKVY 2.0. The training programme was conducted by SAS.
