Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Monday virtually inaugurated a police guest house and a renovated District Library at Churachandpur district headquarters.
Taking to Twitter, CM Biren said that the guest house is constructed "to give a comfortable accommodation to the policemen and their families when they are in the frontline".
The District Library will facilitate open access to information and ideas, besides providing opportunities for learning experiences, the chief minister said.
"To give a comfortable accommodation to the police men & their families when they are in the frontline, a newly constructed Police Guest House is inaugurated today at Churachandpur Dist HQ via VC from my office. A renovated District Library is also inaugurated for the District," CM Biren tweeted.
The police guest house was inaugurated in the presence of Tribal Affairs and Hills Minister Vungzagin Valte, Singhat AC MLA and MANIREDA chairman Ginsuanhau Zou, chief secretary Rajesh Kumar, Churachandpur AC MLA V Hangkhanlian and DGP LM Khaute.
