"Cancelling exams and promoting students without conducting exams will result in the students facing trouble in getting jobs and admissions at higher education level in future. Thus, the board exams will be held but postponed," the minister had said.

The Union Education Ministry had postponed the CBSE board exams in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
