Popular Youth Club, Khangabok on Friday organised a felicitation programme for meritorious students at the club playground located at Khangabok Part-III, Makha Leikai.
The programme was attended by SP of Thoubal District Police, S Ibomcha; pradhan of Khangabok Part-II GP, Sh Opendro; pradhan nominee of Khangabok Part-II GP, M Manglemjao; and former senior resident officer of department of Gynaecology, RIMS, Dr Laishram Somenkumar as presidium members.
SP Ibomcha spoke on the importance of good discipline to be maintained by students. He continued that sincerity and well-mannerism are the key elements that would shape the future of a person.
Students who had succeeded in NEET examination and secured marks with distinctions in Class X and XII were felicitated with gift items during the programme.
The club also felicitated SP Ibomcha, who was recently awarded as true warrior in ‘Wars on Drugs’ by the state government, followed by felicitating the Anti COVID-19 Task Force team of Khangabok assembly constituency.
