Manipur CM Biren prays for progress, peace and prosperity for people in Nagaland on 58th Statehood Day

Nagaland became the 16th state of the Union of India on December 1, 1963, with Kohima as its capital.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Tuesday extended his greetings to the people of Nagaland on their 58th Statehood Day.

Conveying his greetings, CM Biren prayed for progress, peace and prosperity in the state.

"Greetings to the people of Nagaland on their Statehood Day. May the state continue to achieve progress, peace and prosperity under the leadership of my friend, Shri @Neiphiu_Rio ji," CM Biren tweeted.

Nagaland became the 16th state of the Union of India on December 1, 1963, with Kohima as its capital.

Biren was recently tested positive for COVID-19. He announced his recovery on Monday, saying in a tweet that he had recovered and tested negative for the viral infection after two weeks of being tested positive.
