The People’s Task Force For COVID-19 has alleged that SOP is not being followed while conducting entrance test, counselling and admission process for different courses under Manipur University and DM University.

A release by Publicity and Propaganda In-Charge (PTFC-19) M Angamba Meitei stated that PTFC-19 will go to the extent of closing the institutions if they fail to maintain SOP. PTFC-19 also drew the attention of the education minister into the matter.

Stating that volunteers of PTFC-19 also came across students not taking precautionary measures of COVID-19, the release also appealed to the authorities of the institutions to make sure the SOP is followed.
