The Manipur State Commission for Women has selected 10 winners of the online state level essay competition on the topic “Customary laws, alcoholism, substance abuse: a high voltage of domestic violence in North East India”.
The list of the winners are Akoijam sarjubala Devi, Monika Mutum, Tarun Lourembam, M. Jimbashwari Devi, Evergreat Wanglar Monsang, Yumnam Leishemba Meitei, Leishembi Meikam, Wangmayum mahmood Hassan, Captain Bharat Singh and Namerirakpam Bidyapati Devi.
A prize distribution ceremony of the winners and felicitation programme of minister of Social Welfare and Corporation Okram Henry was held at Kombirei conference hall of DC Complex, Lamphel on Friday.
