After almost a decade long gap, a meeting of district level officers (DLOs) was held outside the district headquarters on Saturday at Sangaikot sub-divisional headquarters led by deputy commissioner of Churachandpur, Pawan Yadav.
During the meeting, the DC deliberated issues such as ensuring achievement of target under Jal Jeevan Mission, solar street light installations at strategic locations, COVID-19 appropriate behavior, e-office implementation, Forest Rights Act and few others.
After consideration regarding reopening of schools, it was decided to adhere to state guidelines. SOPs to be followed for gatherings at events and compulsory use of face masks by shopkeepers were also discussed.
The DLOs and SDOs concerned were also instructed to conduct inspection of works undertaken under several line departments like Minor Irrigation, Water Resource, PMJVK, PMGSY, Minority Affairs and others.
Besides discussing e-office implementation at DC office and other offices of the district, network connectivity issues were also sorted out in the meeting. Later in the day, the DC and DLOs concerned inspected NREGS works at the adjoining villages where Pawan Yadav informed the villagers to apply for financial assistance under the Social Welfare department.
