The election of new executive members of the All Tribal Students’ Union Manipur (ATSUM) for the term 2020-2022 will be held on September 19 at Amity Hall, Adimjati Complex, Chingmeirong, Imphal.

 

An election notification of the union signed by its presiding officer Lunsei A Touthang and returning officer Adim David Choro said that the election will be taken up consequent to the expiry of term of the ATSUM 2017-2020, and as per the ATSUM general assembly 2020 resolution passed on September 7.

 

The election of the union will be held only for 16 posts while several other posts will be nominated in due course of time by the newly elected executive body and the election process will begin from 9 am onwards.

Requesting all ATSUM federating units, tribe based student bodies and district apex student bodies to attend the election in time without fail, the notification also appealed all its members to adhere to the SOP guidelines laid down by the government to combat and contain the spread of COVID-19 and render all possible help to government agencies in the fight against COVID-19.
