As the number of returnees arriving into the state has decreased, several community quarantine centers are closing down. The community quarantine center opened at Biramangol College, Sawombung for Lamlai assembly constituency was closed down on Friday.
On the closing of the community quarantine center of Biramangol college in Sawombung, the college campus was sanitized under the supervision of co-opted member of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) Achoibam Deben along with the college authority.
Apart from sanitizing the college campus, Deben also donated sodium hypochoride to the college authorities.
Meanwhile, Deben who is also advisor of Lamlai Kendra Development Committee also donated monetary assistance and water tanks along with drinking water to the community quarantine centers opened at Seijang village of the same assembly constituency.
Ration items including monetary assistance were also donated at two houses of Tusenphai and Sanjenbam Khunou, Lamlai assembly constituency, Imphal East.
