Deadline extended for feedback on draft state drug policy

The decision to extend the timeline for taking feedback from the public was taken in the meeting held on Saturday.

The Directorate of Social Welfare has notified all the general public that the Drafting Committee of the State Drug Policy has unanimously decided to extend the deadline for submission of suggestions and objections on the draft of the Manipur State Policy on Substance Use, 2019 up to September 14 on public demand.

A release signed by director (Social Welfare) Ngangom Uttam Singh stated that the decision to extend the timeline for taking feedback from the public was taken in the meeting held on Saturday.

The draft policy can be downloaded from the state government website manipur.gov.in, it stated. “Your valuable suggestions may be submitted to the principal secretary (social welfare), government of Manipur or sent to the email address: directorswmanipur@gmail.com,” it stated.
