Church donates towards Manipur CM COVID-19 Relief Fund

Haipi Baptist Church in Manipur has donated Rs 30,000 to the Chief Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund to help in the fight against the pandemic.

As the number of COVID-19 positive cases in the state continues to rise, the Haipi Baptist Church in Manipur has donated Rs 30,000 to the Chief Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund to help in the fight against the pandemic.

The amount was handed over to Chief Minister N Biren by Haipi village secretary Paoginmang; former minister and president of NPP Manipur Pu Thangminlien and Haipi Baptist Church pastor Lunkholal.

During the event, Haipi Youth Club president Khuplenlal and former Horticulture department director Kailonlien Kipgen were also present.

The chief minister also expressed gratitude to Haipi Baptist Church and all other contributors who donated towards the CM’s COVID-19 Relief fund and said that the contribution reflects the commitment and support of the Haipi Baptist Church to the collective fight against the pandemic.

The Haipi Baptist Church is a part of Thadou Baptist Association, India, and is located in Keithelmanbi area, Manipur.
