The action committee of Tangkhul Leihsak Long, TLL (Tangkhul Trade and Commerce Organisation) on Saturday has prohibited the sale of chicken feeds at two shops located at Phungreitang, Ukhrul after they were found to be selling under inappropriate measurements.

The members of the action committee along with a media person visited the godown and found that Anish Variety Shop was selling chicken feeds 8 kg less from 50 kg bags. A store named Rahul Store was also found to be cheating by 7 kilos in selling 50 kg bags of the chicken feed.
Convenor of action committee, TLL, Machung Ragui stated that the shops after removing up to 7-8 kilos at their godown have been selling the underweight packing to the customers for a price of 50 kilos.

He informed that Anish Variety Shop is owned by Bijali Prasad from Bihar and Rahul Store is owned by Ajay Kumar from Bihar, and both the shops are located at Phungreitang, Ukhrul. The two shops have been immediately banned from selling chicken feed in wholesale.
