Health Minister Langpoklakpam Jayantakumar Singh on Tuesday said that the 300-bedded COVID Care Centre at Manipur Trade and Expo Centre, Lamboi khongnangkhong will be completed within three days' time.
Jayantakumar was speaking while interacting with officials during the inspection of the work progress of the centre along with the director of health and officials of the health department.
The minister said that the centre will be made functional at the earliest and appreciated the dedication and the hard work being put in by the health department officials to complete the COVID care centre within a record time.
Jayantakumar urged the people of the state to stay at home and follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to halt the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
