The All Manipur Ayush Doctors Association has lauded and expressed gratitude to the state government for looking into the issue concerning the salary of AYUSH doctors and AYUSH pharmacists.
A release signed by its convenor, Dr Md Jahangir and publicity secretary, Dr Potsangbam Ningthemjao stated that the Ayush Doctors and Ayush Pharmacists under NHM, Manipur expressed their heartfelt gratitude to chief minister N Biren and cabinet ministers for considering the protracted problems of marginalised salary of AYUSH doctors and AYUSH Pharmacists to pay at par with Allopathic Doctors (MBBS) and Allopathic Pharmacists under NHM, Manipur.
It further expressed gratitude to Family Welfare minister, government of Manipur, L Jayantakumar, and principal secretary (Health and Family Welfare), state mission director (NHM), director (Ayush) and all concerned staff of the section for their constant support, the release added.
The release further mentioned that AMADA continued to request the government of Manipur to promptly implement the valued decision taken on Thursday at the earliest in true spirit.
