CBSE class 12th result declared at www.cbse.nic.in

This year the pass percentage is 88.78 per cent, up by 5.38 per cent.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday declared the class 12 results on its official websites results.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. 

A total of 11,92,961 students appeared in the CBSE 12th exam this year, of which 10,59,080 students cleared the exam.

This year the pass percentage is 88.78 per cent, up by 5.38 per cent. In 2019, the pass percentage was 83.40 per cent.

As per reports, Trivandrum has the highest pass percentage with 97.67 per cent while Patna has the lowest pass percentage with 74.57 per cent.

CBSE Chairman took to Twitter to congratulate the successful students.

"I congratulate all the students for their accomplishment in class 12. As we all know, this year has been unique and unprecedented in many ways. For us, each student, parents and teacher deserves appreciation for withstanding the testing times. I wish the very best to all students in their future endeavours and hope they will demonstrate the same resilience in the face of future challenges," the chairman posted on Twitter.

Also, congratulating the successful students, Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted, “Dear Students, Parents and Teachers! CBSE has announced the results of Class XII and can be accessed at cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate, Student’s health and quality education are our priority.”

In institution wise performance, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) record the best pass percentage of 98.70 per cent, followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) at 98.62 per cent.
