MLSA Mayang Imphal Judokas lifted the champion title of the Sub-Junior as well as Cadet Boys and Girls category of the 23rd State Level Judo Championship 2021 which concluded at SAI Complex, Takyelpat.
In the Sub-Junior category, MLSA Mayang Imphal finished the championship picking up nine gold, 10 silver and 10 bronze medals for 95 points while Thoubal judokas took the runners up title with four gold, two silver and seven bronze medals for 40 points.
As for the Cadet category, MLSA judokas collected 9 gold, three silver and five bronze medals for 64 points while SAI NERC fetched the runners up title with three gold, one silver and six bronze medals for 30 points.
The championship saw K Bishal of BBA in 66 kg and I Kalpana Devi of SAI NERC in 63 kg being awarded the Best Judokas title in the Cadet Boys and Girls category. As for the Sub-Junior, MLSA judokas Y Yohenba Singh in 50 kg and L Ale of Thoubal in 36 kg were feted with the Best Judokas in the Boys and Girls category.
On the last day, MLSA Mayang Imphal judokas picked up nine gold medals from the Sub-Junior category from NK Parjit in 60 kg, M Bobol in below 66 kg, Th Bobosana in above 66 kg, Th Rohit in 35 kg, Th Parvendey in 40 kg, Y Yohenba in 50 kg, Ng Dipadati in 57 kg, P Rojana in 44 kg and A Linthoingambi in 57 kg.
Judokas of BBA and Thoubal claimed three gold medals each while NSA Khuman Lampak collected two gold medals.
