Rs 60,000 announced for information on dog killers

A dog named Mylo owned by one by Longjam Anandkumar was killed mercilessly on Sunday by two individuals who came riding on two wheelers after which they also took the body, a release issued by Manipur Dog Lovers Club stated on Tuesday.

Manipur Dog Lovers Club and Yening Animal Foundation have announced a cash reward of Rs 60,000 to anyone who can provide information regarding the whereabouts of miscreants involved in the killing of a dog at Wangjing Lamding Cherapur, Thoubal on October 3.

A dog named Mylo owned by one by Longjam Anandkumar was killed mercilessly on Sunday by two individuals who came riding on two wheelers after which they also took the body, a release issued by Manipur Dog Lovers Club stated on Tuesday.

Condemning such brutality towards an animal considered to be closest to humans, the club stated a poster campaign seeking ‘Justice for Mylo’ was launched at Wangjing Lamding on Tuesday. If needed, a memorandum will also be submitted to the chief minister to seek justice, it added.

Manipur Dog Lovers Club and Yening Animal Foundation also appealed to the public to extend cooperation in search of those who killed Mylo.
