Doctors For You (D4U) and Anti COVID Task Force, Khangabok, Thoubal district jointly conducted a free COVID-19 vaccination programme at Khangabok part-I, Awang Maning Leikai Lukhoi Lampak community hall on Friday.
The vaccination programme was conducted under the supervision of Thoubal CMO Dr Y Nokul and Thoubal DFWO Dr Ksh Memcha, who have been part of the D4U's continuous drive and around 100 people have been vaccinated.
Dr A Joyrita, who leads the D4U team at Khangabok, said that D4U works under the sponsorship of a Mumbai based national NGO.
More than 71,000 people from different places of Manipur have been vaccinated so far by 10 separate teams of D4U under the guidance of coordinator Ranjit Singh, Dr Joyrita. The D4U team had also successfully opened a 300 bedded COVID Care Centre at NIT.
