Manipur is ready to welcome every tourist with open arms: CM Biren

World Tourism Day is being observed across the world with the theme "Tourism for Inclusive Growth".

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on the occasion of World Tourism Day on Monday said that the state is ready to welcome all tourists and called upon all to promote the beauty of India.

"As we observe the #WorldTourismDay with the theme "Tourism for Inclusive Growth," let us come together to promote the beauty of our country which will also drive prosperity among the people in every society. Manipur is ready to welcome every tourist with an open arms," Biren said in a Twitter Post.

In a banner post, which he posted along with the tweet, the chief minister also invite all to visit Manipur and experience its beauty.

"I invite everyone to visit Manipur and experience its mesmerizing beauty and culture," the chief minister said.

Manipur is known for its exotic and verdant tourist destinations in the valley and all its hill districts. Some of the places of tourist interest include the famous Keibul Lamjao National Park, the Kangla Fort, Manipur State Museum, the War Cemetery, Loktak Lake and Shirui Hills among several others.
