PTRC Patsoi Part IV prevailed over Champ Cricket Club, Khagempalli by 8 wickets in the Qualifier-2 to make their way to the final of the 8th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2023-24 played at LCG, Luwangsangbam.

PTRC Patsoi will face Cyclone Thangmeiband in the final for the all-important Champion title, slated to be held on May 2 at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, Luwangsangbam.

Sent into bat first, Champ batsmen made a die-hard effort, making 200/10 from 37 overs. Middle order Nitesh Sedai top scored with 70 runs off 52 balls while M Thomas got 25 runs among the top run makers. Jotin Singh Pheiroijam proved to be the chief wrecker as he claimed 5 wickets for 26 runs from 8 overs for PTRC while Bishworjit Singh took 2 wickets.

In reply, PTRC batsmen made batting look easy as Jotin Singh Pheiroijam made an unbeaten 100 runs off 82 balls while Kh Santosh also remained not out with 66 runs for the comfortable win in 34.5 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Jotin Singh was awarded ‘Man of the Match’ for his 100 runs and 5 wickets. Nitesh Sedai and L Kenedy fetched 1 wicket each.
