Manipur cruised with smooth sails as they beat Maharastra by 3-0 goals in the 28th Senior Women's National Football Championship for Rajmata Jijabai Trophy 2024 played at Kishore Bharati Stadium, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Rallying on with three victories in their lap, Manipur girls seemed unstoppable against the Maharashtrians, giving some respect, until forward Ng Bala Devi let loose to stomp home the opening goal in the 37th minute with able assistance from Dangmei Grace for the lead.

With Maharashtra finding it hard to make a shy of the opponent goal, frustration rose, providing Manipur the loopholes and willy Dangmei Grace struck the second goal in the 62nd minute and later it was left to Reijya with great help from Sibani, cracking the winning goal in the 89th minute for the victory.
