Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has announced state half-day holiday on November 29-30 in connection with the ongoing Sangai Festival 2022.
Taking to Twitter, CM Biren appealed to all to attend the Sangai Festival 2022, which is being organised after a gap of two years under the theme “Festival of Oneness” at 13 venues across the state.
"Pleased to declare that the state will observe a half-day holiday on November 29th and 30th November in connection with the Manipur Sangai Festival 2022. I urge the people of the state to take the opportunity and attend the Festival of Oneness, during these last two days," the chief minister tweeted on Sunday.
The Sangai Festival 2022 kicked off on November 21 and will conclude on November 30.
