The Naga Students’ Union Chandel (NSUC), while appreciating the people of all communities of Chandel district for maintaining peace in the district thus far, has appealed to all to continue the trend of maintaining peace and tranquillity in the district.
In a release by its Information Cell, the NSUC reiterated that no organisation/group/individual should disturb the fabric of peaceful co-existence in Chandel by way of incitement or instigation.
It also stated that the NSUC does not feel the need for a change of District Administration official at this crucial juncture just because he/she belongs to a particular community.
In no way, the union will accept any interference from external quarters in matters which are under the jurisdiction of the NSUC, it stated.
