In a noteworthy move towards enhancing citizen grievance redressal in Manipur, an online portal was inaugurated on Wednesday.
The Manipur Information Commission has introduced the facility for online filing (e-filing) of the 2nd Appeal and Complaint cases in alignment with the directives of the Supreme Court of India.
Chief Information Commissioner Koijam Radhashyam officially launched the portal, reflecting the government’s commitment to utilising technology for public welfare.
“This platform allows citizens to submit their complaints online, eliminating the need for physical visits to Consumer Commission”, said the chief information commission.
The portal is a testament to the government’s commitment to leveraging technology for public welfare. It allows citizens to file their complaints online without the need to physically visit the Consumer Commissions or courts.
The portal not only facilitates the online filing of complaints but also enables a hybrid mode of appeals and complaints.
Further to avail of the facility, a complainant appellant can visit www.eservicesmanipur.gov.in.
