The inaugural programme of Makaam Hospital and Research Institute was held at MHRI Conference Hall under Noney district Headquarters on Thursday.
54-Nungba assembly constituency MLA Dinganglung Gangmei, CMO Noney Zianthuilung Kamei, IRS deputy director Ganreipou Gangmei attended the inaugural ceremony chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
The Hospital was inaugurated by Dinganglung Gangmei and dedicated by reverend Ngamdisin Kamei Pastor Longmai-III Baptist Church in the presence of chairman Makaam Hospital & Research Institute (MHRI) Henry Kaphunjok Gonmei.
During the programme, Dinganglung Gangmei mentioned in his speech that he was delighted to see that the people have a new private hospital, Makaam hospital and research institute in Noney district.
“It brings hope and promise of improved healthcare services for the community, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. The residents no longer have to travel long distances to receive medical care, it will save time and money,” he said.
He appealed that the general public should extend gratitude and support to the healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to save lives and make a difference in the community.
As part of the inaugural ceremony, surgery was carried out for two patients free of cost.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by several medical officers, village authority leaders from nearby villages and many other prominent leaders like religious leaders, gazetted officers, social and political leaders.
