The Chandel Naga People’s Organisation (CNPO) has strongly condemned the incident of a bomb attack at a residence at Khangshim village in Chandel district on Sunday night.
The CNPO stated in a release that on November 27, 2022 (Sunday), a crude bomb was hurled at the residence of Milan Khaling at Khangshim village adjacent to Kakching Lamkhai around 7 pm.
Although the bomb did not cause injuries or casualties, it has caused fear and insecurity among the inhabitants of the village and the surrounding inhabitants, the CNPO said.
CNPO stated that such incident should be condemned by all peace-loving citizens. CNPO urges the authorities to trace the culprit and punish befittingly and ensure that such incidents do not re-occur in the future, it stated.
