The attestation parade of 161 head constables (engine driver/ master/WKSP and constable crew) of Border Security Force recruits of BRT Batch no 245 was conducted at Subsidiary Training Centre of BSF in Churachandpur district on Saturday.
IG Sanjay Kumar Misra took salutes of the grand parade as the chief guest during the event. On the occasion, the 161 head constable and constable crew took oath for their duty to the nation after they successfully completed basic training which came after a rigorous training at STC-BSF.
The commandent CI of STC -BSF Churachandpur Vishal Rane and other prominent leaders of Churachandpur, BSF officer and jawans, School Children of Kendra Vidhalaya and media persons witnessed the attestation parade.
After the oath taking and a grand parade, a band show by Band Platoon of Ftr Mizoram and Cachar, Purulia Chhau dance and Laathi Khele of West Bengal, Martial arts and PT jump shown was carried out by the BSF that enthralled the audience.
