Army Recruitment Rally for shortlisted candidates in online common entrance examination from all districts of Manipur is scheduled to be conducted from November 28 to December 8, 2023, as per instructions received from Directorate General of Recruiting, integrated headquarter of Ministry of Defence (Army), New Delhi.
Colonel director recruiting (Nagaland and Manipur) Kuldeep Singh in a notice on Monday released the locations where the recruitment rally will be held.
The recruitment rally for Senapati, Kangpokpi, Ukhrul and Kamjong districts will be held at Brigadier Thomas ground, Kangpokpi from November 28 to 30. For Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching, Bishnupur, Noney, Tamenglong and Jiribam districts, the rally will be held at Koirengei Old Airfield, Imphal East on December 3 and 4. Tengnoupal, Chandel, Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts will be held at Peace Ground Churachandpur on December 7 and 8.
The recruitment rally will be under Agnipath scheme and will provide job opportunities to the youth of Manipur and help them become part of the prestigious Indian Army. Details of enrollment under Agnipath scheme have been communicated to the environment through various channels and the same are also available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
It is requested to direct the deputy commissioner, Kangpokpi, Imphal east and Churachandpur (Manipur state) to provide all the necessary assistance for conduct of Army Recruitment rally at the above-mentioned places of Manipur from November 28 to December 8.
It notified the candidates to hold coordination conference with all the concerned officials to discuss and coordinate police protection, transport, detailment of magistrate, intelligence cover against tout/agent, education staff from state department, medical cover and administrative assistance from the above three districts from the government of Manipur for the subject recruitment rally.
It also requested to confirm a joint coordination conference between civil authorities and army recruiting office, Rangapahar on any date between November 10 to 15, 2023 as per their convenience and intimate to all concerned agencies to attend the same.
