In a note of gratitude to the chief minister on Wednesday, general secretary of Zomi Council, Nangzakai Suante stated that the benevolence, thoughtfulness and administrative acumen of the chief minister is  displayed in the judicious choice of an MLA from Thanlon Assembly Constituency which has not witness ministership for decades together.

Suante said, “it is indeed a shower of blessing alter a prolonged dry spell in the area which certainly needed renewed attention and priority in view of the various policies crucial to the overall development of the State as well as the Centre”.

The note added that Vungzagin is one of the most ‘astute’ politicians who had distinguished himself all through his career even before his entry into politics.
