Wildlife Week 2020 in Tamenglong concludes

The observance was attended by honorary wildlife warden, Nehemiah Panmei, range forest officers, Kh Khogen Singh and A Promeshwor Singh, teachers of school and members of Rainforest Club, Tamenglong.

Celebration of Wildlife Week 2020 in Tamenglong district concluded with the distribution of ‘certificates of appreciation’ and cash prizes to the winners of slogans writing competition and wildlife awareness pamphlets.

The valedictory programme was held on Tuesday at the official bungalow of Forest IB, Tamenglong district headquarters with district forest officer of Tamenglong, Kh Hitler Singh as chief guest.

It was attended by honorary wildlife warden, Nehemiah Panmei, range forest officers, Kh Khogen Singh and A Promeshwor Singh, teachers of school and members of Rainforest Club, Tamenglong.

In his chief guest speech, Kh Hitler Singh expressed his sincere gratitude to all the participants in the week-long activities in connection with the wild life week. "Let us protect our valuable and endangered wildlife species, their habitat and let us stop illegal trade of wildlife products,” said Hitler.
