Manipur Transport Minister Vungzagin Valte assured that the damaged building of DTO, Churachandpur will be renovated and also said that the garages for the five buses and dormitory for the drivers and their staff will be arranged soon.

Vungzagin said that the new medical college will have an intake of 100 seats for MBBS and will be constructed over an area of 25 acres.
The new SBI branch is the fourth branch in Churachandpur.
The Zomi Council stated that allocating ministerial berths of Tribal Affairs & Hills, Transport and GAD to Vungzagin Valte will benefit the hills in particular and bring equitable development for the whole state as well.
