The incident happened at around 5:45 pm at Daili village along the Imphal-Dimapur road when a White Maruti van hit the youth and sped off towards Imphal side.
A truck fell into a gorge which is estimated to be more that 300 feet deep from the main road at Namkaolong (Keikao) village.
The woman was allegedly hit by a Tata DI truck bearing registration number MN02G 2646 which was travelling from Bishnupur to Imphal.
As per sources, the driver and his daughter are in critical condition while his son is out of danger. They have been referred to Imphal for further medical treatment.
