Manipur observes Nupi Lal Day

Recognising the selfless contributions of women in the state, the Manipur government has taken up two initiatives in their honour i.e. the renaming of road stretch from Governor’s Traffic Point to Pureiromba Khongnangkhong as ‘Nupi Lan Road’ and the announcement of the ‘Chief Minister’s Ima Nongthangleima Yaipha Tengbang Scheme’ for women sections.
