Education Minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh appealed to all the children of Manipur to work hard to achieve their dreams and ambitions while inculcating discipline, humility and good virtues.
The theme for this year’s World Teachers’ Day celebration is “The Transformation of Education Begins With Teachers,” and the day is celebrated to focus on the work of education, the minister stated in his message.
Rajen said the education department is very strictly supervising the work progress of most of the ongoing constructions through concerned officials of the department.
S Rajen said that both exams will be held as usual in normal schedule without deferring.
With the government’s ‘go to hills’ and ‘go to valley’, including ‘school fagathalasi’, the number of dropout students in the state has been decreasing, the minister said.
