The students' union alleged that former principal A Surenjit Singh had misused college funds during 2019-2020 which resulted in zero development of the college.

Lilong Haoreibi College Students Union said that the present principal of the college, Dr A Surendrajit had allegedly misused several college funds including the funds of the student’s union.

Finance secretary of Lilong Haoreibi College Md Sadam Khan alleged the principal of misappropriating college funds, starting from 2018-19 session to 2019-20.
