Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh announced the reopening of the three Ima Keithel at Khwairamband at a function attended by a huge gathering of women vendors on Monday.

After a hectic political sojourn in the capital, the Chief Minister on his return came with a surprise gift for the women.

As lockdown persist with COVID-19 spread in the state, nearly 4,000 women vendors of the three Ima Keithels in Imphal have little choice but to take back their products stored in the markets
