Manipur Loumee Marup secretary Haobijam Ibobi said that the farm laws passed by the BJP-led NDA government is not in favour of the Indian peasants.
The farmers launched the hunger strike, which began at Singhu border, demanding the government to revoke the farm laws.
Social activist Anna Hazare urged people in the country to spread the protest against Centre's agricultural laws.
Instead of promoting development in the country, the new laws will promote neo-liberalism which will affect farmers and laymen, chairman of Coordinating Body of Trade Unions, Manipur, L Sotinkumar said.
