KSO Churachandpur general secretary L Minlal Gangte says they have rounded up around 400 youths since March 2022 with some of them released after counselling.
Since the launching of ‘War on drugs’ policy, a total of 1,321 cases related to drugs have been registered; 1,735 people in connection with drugs have been arrested; over 10,000 acres of poppy have been destructed, over 1,400 kilogram of brown sugars have been destroyed and many laboratory used to manufacture drugs have been destroyed, the chief minister said.
