CPI national secretary Palap Sen Gupta emphasised the urgent need for government action to restore peace and normalcy in Manipur.
Communist Party of India Manipur State Council (CPI-MSC), in a release, said that the 10 leaders of the opposition parties met with Palestinian Ambassador Adnan Abu Alhaija at New Delhi on Monday and expressed solidarity with the Palestinians.
"The strife in Manipur needs immediate redressal and a political initiative engaging all sections of society in the state."
