The number of COVID-19 active cases in Mizoram dipped to nine on Saturday.
Five more recoveries were recorded in Mizoram on Sunday.
No new COVID-19 case has been recorded in three districts of Mizoram - Hnahthial, Siaha and Saitual, since the recoveries of the active cases.
Of the total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state, 205 cases are active while 3,757 persons have recovered from COVID-19
On Thursday, Mizoram recorded seven new COVID-19 positive cases.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Mizoram is 3,823.
Eight more persons were confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus on Wednesday.
Mizoram now has 344 active cases and 1,759 recovered cases.
A total of 28 new COVID-19 positive cases were recorded on Tuesday.
Mizoram now has 499 active cases while the number of recoveries stands at 1,459.
According to the health department, one of the two jawans developed COVID-19 symptoms while the other is asymptomatic.
Of the 197 total cases recorded in the state, 133 cases have already recovered and discharged while only 64 cases remain active.
With the 22 new COVID-19 positive cases the total number of cases in Mizoram rose to 186.
Of the 107 COVID-19 positive cases reported in the state, 106 cases are active.
Mizoram Health minister Dr R Lalthangliana said that the state government will set up a Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) soon.
The health department said that five of the fresh cases are Delhi returnees; three are Maharashtra returnees and one is a West Bengal returnee.
According to the Health department, three of the five fresh cases are returnees from Maharashtra while the remaining two are individuals had returned from Delhi recently.
Mizoram has now 88 cases of COVID-19 of which 87 are active.
With the first COVID-19 case, which was reported on March 24, recovered and discharged from the hospital, there are 21 active cases.
