The extension of ceasefire between the Government of India and the ational Socialist Council of Nagaland-Reformation (NSCN-R) will come into effect from April 28.
India and Nagalim shall enter a new relationship for peaceful co-existence of the two entities on the basis of shared sovereignty, the chairman stated.
The Naga Hoho said that it appreciated the matured decision taken by Retired General Niki Sumi to renew the ceasefire with the Government of India.
The ministry of information and publicity, GPRN stated that the Naga solution included its own Naga flag and constitution as demanded by the NSCN-IM.
The chief minister said that 23 years of ceasefire and political dialogue are more than enough time to reach a logical conclusion.
The Naga Hoho and the Naga Mothers' Association alleged that the six NSCN-IM cadres were killed while they were sleeping in a hut.
The government must take action to minimize any conflict and should not use such a tactic to jeopardise the hard gained peace process, it stated.
